A Huge Thank you to the Nanton Literacy and Learning Society!!

The Nanton Literacy and Learning Society is a group of volunteers who meet regularly to
promote literacy and learning in Nanton. This is the sixth year that we have gifted each grade 2
student in A. B. Daley School with a book at Christmas. Starting this year, we have extended the
program to Cayley School and Stavely School. We are excited to provide each grade 2 in these
three schools with a copy of “The Night Before Christmas.”

We hope that reading this book together becomes a Christmas tradition for each of our grade 2
families.

The Nanton Literacy and Learning Society is supported throughout the year by your purchase of
used books at the Used Book Corner in the local coffee shop, “Because I Said So,” and by the
generous contributions of local service groups and foundations. We have chosen this beautiful Christmas classic, familiar to so many.
