Alana Millard
Grade 1/2
I am Alana Millard and I am so excited to be the Grade 1 / 2 teacher at A. B. Daley this year. I have taught Grade one and two for three years at A. B. Daley.
I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit many places. This year I did lots of traveling in B.C and two years ago I learned how to sail in Croatia and went rock climbing in Slovenia. I love being outside and I try to get out to the mountains to ski and hike as often as I can. My favorite sport is Synchronized Swimming. I competed for 9 years and have coached for over 10. I just recently earned my Scuba diving certification allowing me to swim and explore more places. Eating good food is one of my favorite pastimes… I can easily be won over with a few pieces of chocolate.
I am super excited to be teaching in Nanton and look forward to sharing my passion for learning with all my students.
