NEW Assistant Principal at AB Daley
Livingstone Range School Division is happy to announce that Mrs. Allison Martin has been selected as Assistant Principal, A.B. Daley School in Nanton, starting in the 2018-2019 school year.
Martin previously served as A.B. Daley Acting Assistant Principal, filling a temporary absence, and has been with Livingstone Range schools since the beginning of her teaching career. She has successfully fulfilled a number of roles at Stavely Elementary and A.B. Daley schools between 2009 and 2018.
“I look forward to the upcoming school year as Assistant Principal at A.B. Daley School in Nanton,” says Martin. “It is with much excitement that we start planning and collaborating with an amazing staff and school community. I’m confident that our school team will continue to design and provide learning experiences that will allow our students much success.”
Learning support and early childhood education are two areas where Martin has made significant contributions to her schools, taking the lead on numerous initiatives including the Early Childhood Intervention Program, using multiple assessment tools to develop learning plans, integrating technology in the classroom, and developing strong literacy and numeracy programs.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge, with a major in Social Sciences and minor in Physical Education. She also earned a Master of Education degree in Professional Development from the U of L in 2012, choosing to focus her final project on elementary math at Stavely. In 2012, Martin was the Livingstone Range nominee for the Edwin Parr Excellence in Teaching Award.
Livingstone Range would like to extend congratulations to Alli Martin on her new appointment and wish her continued success at A.B. Daley.
